What exactly IS safari glamping?  Well, its a upscale style of camping .Glamping allows you to just ‘show up to the party’, for the most part.  Many travelers would like to experience camping in the Everglades but are traveling great distances to get here and quite a few are traveling by plane.  Flying to our area can make it cost prohibitive to camp, taking into consideration the fairly substantial amount of camping gear necessary to enjoy the experience.  Our safari glamping provides the tent and many of the other necessities required to enjoy the experience.

You and your family or group can arrive to a tent and tent camping area already set up for you.  We also can supply, a la carte, some additional necessities including additional smaller tents, sleeping bags, camp cots and a small cooking station.  We have firewood for sale at the campground store.

Safari glamping offers an authentic Florida Everglades experience and can be enjoyed all year round.  Naturally, certain times of the year are more favorable than others where weather and animal and bird sightings are concerned.  The fall, winter and early spring months are traditional popular for safari glamping as the bug and insect population subsides during that time of year and our migratory bird population is typically easy to observe and increase the bird sighting numbers significantly.

Safari glamping takes place with the Trail Lakes Campground, located in Ochopee, FL, which is a family owned and operated old Florida style campground featuring nicely appointed tent and RV campsites located amongst several small lakes and a bathhouse that provides hot showers and restroom facilities.
